Performance analysis of SLIPT Architecture

Currently, the study based on Simultaneous Lightwave Information and Power Transfer (SLIPT) has become a popular subject in the scientific world. The SLIPT is an interesting technology because it harvests energy by utilizing light sources while decoding information on the receiver side. Most commonly this technology can be used in indoor and outdoor Internet-of-Things (IoT) applications. Furthermore, we examined the quantity of collected energy for various Direct Current (DC) values and quantified the collected energy at various Field of View (FoV) angles.In this research paper, we describe the conceptual foundation for the Power Splitting (PS) based SLIPT technology and analyze the performance of the PS-SLIPT architecture. Furthermore, we demonstrate the design in order to improve the performance by increasing the amount of harvested energy while maintaining the needed user quality-of-service (QoS) of data rates.
